Remembering Kim Marks' cousin Jim Moye
July 2, 2005 Jim Moye began his eternal walk with Jesus. In his 45 years, Jim touched countless lives with his compelling Christian witness and unshakeable faith. Founder of Young Leader's International, learn more about ways you can help continue Jim's ministry.
After brain surgery to remove a malignant tumor, a friend overheard Jim say, "Thanks for listening to my heart," to a nurse taking his vital signs. This comment inspired the original painting Jim's Heart that friends presented November 23, 2004 to Jim and his wife, Fran.
Although led to create the artwork, the painting's symbolism came alive for Jim's cousin and artist, Kim Marks, during his memorial service.
Close friends and family described Jim's unique passion for his fellow-man as "pouring himself" into others. The heart image represents the many people Jim nutured, and through a relationship with him, are now closer to Christ.
Please continue Jim's heartfelt wish to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone we encounter. By doing so, we will truly be 'listening' to Jim's heart, living his mission.
As the Bible promises in John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have life eternal. Let's honor the gift God gives each of us. Accept Jesus into your heart today.
