Kim just delivered a commission for 9 "Fun Fishies" paintings for the Children & Youth Ministries at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN, with this message emailed February 13, 2010, "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!!! I LOVE the fishies!!! They are sooooooooooooooo adorable and look amazing in our room already. The art is a hit! Thank you for sharing it with us!"

The HGTV Dream Home 2007 design team chose Kim's original painting from the eclectic selection found at Matilda's in Alpharetta, GA. Kim enjoyed her 30-seconds of fame as designer Linda Woodrum explained to a national television audience how "Potted Flowers" pulled together the design elements of the room.
